Troop 412 Overview
Troop 412 is part of the Elm Fork District within the Circle Ten Council.

Activities
In addition to weekly troop meetings, Troop 412 offers a variety of monthly activities, including:
- Camping trips
- Field trips
- Service projects
Registration
To join Troop 412, each Scout must complete:
- Boy Scout Application
- Personal Health and Medical Record
- Payment of registration fee
Annual Fee: $150 per Scout
No Scout will be denied membership due to financial hardship. If assistance is needed, please contact the Troop Committee Chair.
Uniforms
Scouts and adult leaders are expected to wear the full Scout (Class A) uniform at all troop activities unless otherwise directed.
Class B Uniform:
The troop T-shirt may be worn as an alternative during camping trips, service projects, or when approved by the Scoutmaster.
All Scouts should maintain a neat appearance. Shirts should be tucked in unless otherwise instructed.
Equipment
Each new Scout should have:
- A Boy Scout Handbook
Before attending their first campout, Scouts will also need:
- Lightweight, mummy-style sleeping bag (30° rating or lower)
- Closed-cell foam sleeping pad
- Backpack
- Poncho or rain gear
Note: The troop has limited equipment available to lend if needed.
The troop provides shared gear for campouts, including tents, cooking equipment, and patrol supplies.
Parent Involvement
Parents are encouraged to get involved in Troop 412 in a variety of ways, including:
- Assistant Scoutmasters
- Troop Committee members
- Merit Badge Counselors
